All of a sudden, she is 23 months.

Brought into this beautiful world on August 29, 2011.

Creating happiness and joy to all the people around her wherever she goes.

Dancing to Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance”, her tiny little legs prompts her whole body to move up and down, while her arms flail around.

Enticing people by just looking at them with those big, beautiful, beady eyes.

Focusing on the iPhone and iPad a little too much.

Gloating in her ability to find the “camera” function on both devices.


“High five!”, prompt the adults.

Immediately striking hard with the tiniest high-five ever.

Jumbling up her words in the cutest way.

“Ko-A-LA”, I say, showing her the Koko Krunch cereal box; “koal..a..”, she echoes timidly.


Lord, this baby is a blessing.

Mama prays for her every day.

Nourished with love and care.

Occupied with running around and holding some gadget in her hand.

Practically already becoming the master of her own fate.

Queen of her own world.

Reuniting the people all around her.

Feeding herself. SO CUTE.

Silently observing people with those big, beautiful, beady eyes right after a nap.

Tantalizing our every desire to smoosh her in an engulfing hug with her every move.

“Up”, she says, holding out her arms as high as she can.


Vocalizing her every need.

“Wheeeee”, I say, as I throw her up into the air.

Xanadus- in her own world.

Yelling “Hi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” with a beautiful and smooth high-pitched tone, to everybody she sees.

Zeroing into that person when she first meets him/her.

My cutie niece, Lexia.
